Rye Ukulele Festival 2016 – 3rd July 2016
After the success of last year’s first ever Rye Ukulele Festival, we’ll see its return in 2016 on Sunday 3rd July at the Cinque Ports Pub, just a short walk from Rye Lodge Hotel. This now annual event attracts Ukulele groups from across the country and even features a Ukulele Open Mic spot for those fancying themselves a bit of a dab-hand on the miniature string instrument!

Rye Jazz Festival 2016 – 25th – 29th August 2016
Rye Jazz Festival in the last few years has cemented itself on the musical calendar as a must-see event. Spread over four days and five nights over the August bank holiday weekend, the festival features some of the finest musicians from the genres of jazz, blues, R&B, soul, funk, gospel and world music. At Rye Lodge Hotel we even get involved having had a number of artists playing in our courtyard whilst customers enjoy a glass of something chilled in the warm summer air.

45th Rye Arts Festival 2016 – 17th Sept – 1st Oct 2016
Now impressively in it’s 45th year, the Rye Arts Festival returns to the bay throughout the latter weeks of September. This year’s festival will feature dozens of events and exhibitions from both up and coming artists, seasoned professionals and household names across the art world. Wild Boar Week – 22nd – 30th October 2016
Now in its 6th year, the Wild Boar Week is a celebration of delicious game in our small town of Rye in East Sussex. Restaurants across the town fully embrace the festival by serving up a selection of locally sourced game dishes. Plus, the week has become well known for its events and entertainment boasting over 30 events – naturally all serving their own offering and interpretation on Wild Boar and game.
