The ultimate Short Break desitination in South East England
Author E.F. Benson described Rye as "perfectly enchanting" in his Mapp and Lucia stories. Little has changed down the centuries, and the medieval charm that Rye retains led Bridget Adams, a reporter from Australian TV's Network 7, to recently rate Rye as "the most beautiful small town in England".
With decades of experience in the hospitality business and having owned and run major UK hotels, it was Rye that stole Kerry de Courcy's heart and led him to buy Rye Lodge and develop it into a luxury hotel, perfect for a relaxing UK short break.
Kerry would like to share his thoughts about the town with you. Just email him and he will personally send you a copy of 'Why Rye?'. He will also be pleased to answer questions you may have about staying in Rye and the wonderful places you can explore nearby.
You can also download 'Why Rye?' as a pdf.
